i think younger me defo found them a lil hot. aise larko ko hero bana k dikhate hain and they try to sell them as sexy and wanted and we often buy into that narrative 😆 but as i have grown up and matured and my thoughts about what an ideal partner and ideal rship are supposed to look like have shifted, i can't take characters like this seriously. it's hard for me to set aside my personal beliefs and enjoy male characters who fall on this spectrum because i know i'd never put up with someone like this anymore irl. pehle to kuch hadd tak sexy lagta tha possessiveness and gussa and whateva else murtu has shown us per ab nahi lagta 🤣 tagging some people - i know not all of us have watched the show but if you have any thoughts, you'll welcome to share them since i'm sure you have seen male characters like these in other shows, movies, or even irl lol

I have grown up watching the itv shows and won't lie I used to believe all these and had similar expectations fir jab bari huyi and reality ko face kiya tab aqal aagayi. Let me tell you a story. I was very fond of chhoti Bahu serial and the lead pairs of that show.(pata nahi q🤔) The leads started dating and I expected their relationship to be the same as shown in the show. (🤦) after few years I read about the guy cheating on the girl and fir dheere dheere I realised ki not everything we see on tv happens in real life. Reality is quite different.

Tbh I feel possessiveness is good (lekin ekdum thora sa) kuch bhi zyada is haanikarak as aahrita said .

I have a colleague who is 24*7 on call cz the guy forces her to but usko ye acha bhi lagta h. She is like "yahi to pyaar h, tum bhi karke dekho" .🙄That guy literally keeps a track on each&every action/word of hers. Starts scolding (rather abusing) if she talks with some other guy in the office (the guy whom she considers her brother) .Kise kya bolna h kitna bolna sab uske according hona chahiye warna he starts abusing. And she is so happy with all these I can't tell you.🥹

oh yikes. kaise bardasht kar leti hai wo yeh sab? yehi to main keh rahi thi sera ko k aise larkay asal mein bhi hote hain or larkiyon ko pasand bhi hoti hain aisi harkatein k wo mere barey mein possessive ho, obsessive ho, ajeeb pagal sa ho 🤢 that's not a healthy relationship. dono parties ko apni freedom honi chahiye and ek dusre pe trust hona chahiye. yeh sab childish harkaton k sath kon zindagi guzar sakta hai. no one should want to live their lives under someone else's control

Exactly! And I am telling you their ones is not at all a healthy one. When she said "tum bhi karke dekho acha lagta h" i was like not at all...Mera to next day hi breakup hojayega I can't have someone who keeps on controlling me , tracking me. Koi freedom hi nahi h.

.kuch privacy hi nahi...She has two kids and currently doing her husband's job as he is no more. Moved on too fast in 2 months as per her (not judging just shocked ) and got married secretly to her current bf within 8 months of her husband's demise. I mean she is grown up enough to understand the red flags. That guy might be behind her for the money who knows. Forced her to get married so that he can trust her love for him to be true. But unhe ye sab acha lagta h and this is "true love" for her.
