i think younger me defo found them a lil hot. aise larko ko hero bana k dikhate hain and they try to sell them as sexy and wanted and we often buy into that narrative 😆 but as i have grown up and matured and my thoughts about what an ideal partner and ideal rship are supposed to look like have shifted, i can't take characters like this seriously. it's hard for me to set aside my personal beliefs and enjoy male characters who fall on this spectrum because i know i'd never put up with someone like this anymore irl. pehle to kuch hadd tak sexy lagta tha possessiveness and gussa and whateva else murtu has shown us per ab nahi lagta 🤣 tagging some people - i know not all of us have watched the show but if you have any thoughts, you'll welcome to share them since i'm sure you have seen male characters like these in other shows, movies, or even irl lol
initially there were few such angry grumpy possessive characters par ab to thok me hain that time it used to look okay i still remember ASR from iss pyar ko kya naam that guy used to play push and pull with the female lead gussa aya jor se use pakad ke deewar me mar do it is manhandling
Mostly such guys were introduced as bechara having their own emotional baggage.zamane ke sataye huye. i find such guys highly problematic
