That sort of implies Sam- PL- Virat triangle but Sairat got immensely popular. And none of them probably was ready. Especially those who were promised the show as lead pair.
Their denial of Sai’s character success is so evident since beginning. More than actor, its the success of that character that hurts them.
By army background, he meant the show was first supposed to take place in Kashmir with militants and army officers - Sai's name was Sheen as said by Sidharth.
In original KD, Virat & Pakhi had a proper courtship period - they spent time together. I think Pakhi even introduces Virat to her parents.
But in Ghum, the entire Yoga love story was spread over hardly 4 episodes where they don't even know each other's full name...it was very silly. Moreover in the 2nd episode of Ghum, a kapoos ka phool lands on both Virat & Sai at the same time - and Usha mausi says someone is going to come to love you...this was in the 2nd episode. Meaning Sai & Virat were destiny.
