Bunty Babli made small town india cool ?

I could’ve sworn that was Bhai with Dabangg. Quite frankly before that everyone thought shooting desi films in USA/UK was all the rage

Bunty Babli 🤔

Any other anomalies in the series ?

I honestly found everyone praising Adi to the skies looked so fake given he doesn’t have anything legendary in his career except DDLJ

Also watching the series made me realize how OTT Darr was and all the leads in it was.

Oh. So you don't do this while standing by a picture of Messi?

Yeh it was very self congratulatory

Bunty aur babli made rural India cool

Befikre was a failure coz “India was not ready for a light romcom” whatever that means

Dhoom (the first one) inspired the youth

Uday chopra was a brilliant actor who just was not a star….

Thoda zyada ho gaya….too much patting urself on the back and giving urself praise…

I am just glad to know Aditya is not a figment of Bollywood's imagination 😆

I always feel, for me, it was Bareily ki Barfi. M a gen-z, so maybe i am and not the target audience (with all the nostalgia and stuff) but for me Bareilly ki Barfi made small town REAL (not cool, it's like cities are supposed to be cool, which they aren't really. It's the use of the place in a story that counts)

Small town films became cool from dev d , gangs of wasseypur, fukrey and dabangg….then there were all those Delhi movies like Vicky donor and band Baaja baraat which caught the flavour of Delhi well

It seemed like almost everyone was lying at one point or another.

The fact that Aditya Chopra seemed perfectly cool in front of the camera and had lots to talk about made me think that his image of a reclusive, genius director was nothing but a painstakingly crafted one that everyone fell for 😆
