Mind screws him up tho. Hence he goes to the confession box. It’s not out of guilt but more of it to get it off his chest and lighten for the fight up ahead.
It’s also like counseling , fathers usually counsel them and help through these situations too

N yes Vinu has to learn the lesson in a harsh way. Maybe if they indeed show his counseling, the jaadugarni story will be revealed to everyone n the damage caused. It will be dragged feels like to add drama. So it's biological parents vs farzi maa.
