I don't think the slap was part of the script tbh, it seems to have been added to create buzz and grab headlines by the director/productions idea. It was out of character with no logical reason. Which might be why it's not been mentioned since.

Haya toh end ke episode mein bhi hai. These guys are smart, the poster shoot had Haya too but MerAsim ki popularity ke baad woh pics kabhi release nahi kiya.
