Even if we think he "loves" sai. His reaction should be guilt that his so called love had to live in the same house seeing him with another woman as his wife.

This smile is nothing romantic or lovely as makers want to portray. It shows how much he respects his both wives especially sai that he is ok with her being third woman in his married life as long as he is near to both wives.

There is nothing in his actions that says affection or basic respect, let alone love towards Sai. But him having flashbacks of their romantic moments is supposed to tell audience that he 'loves' Sai...that's what they have reduced their male lead to.
