I don't think she anticipates the level of hatred Manju and Aaru have for her.
In her head inspite of everything they seem to have continued as Maa and Behen but they absolutely detest her.
If old wounds are scratched and she's accused of being a murderer and bad omen for the family, what is she going to say? Whom does it trigger panic attacks in primarily?
She might be character assassinated in a way, which she may or may not take...
Her own family's stance for her is unknown minus BP who seems to be on ok terms with her. Kairav is going to be rude for sure initially.
Akshu for all her naivety is extremely flawed in her understanding and forgiveness for family.
Even now her biggest hunch with Abhi more than her rejection is their son's rejection. She's a docile woman but a fearless mother. For her son she will fight every battle in this world, no matter who's on the other side.
Going back for anyone else would have been safe but going for Aarohi will bite her, she will not understand it, she will not protest the injustice ...but she's just making herself vulnerable against everything she's grown a skin for in the last 6 years.
If she does not take nonsense great but how much can she say against Birlas in Birla Hospital where every single Birla detests her and probably some Goenkas too are not fond of her choices.
But Akshu is Akshu, she can be whosoever wheresoever but the emotion of hate is not for her core personality. Which is why we probably just see an angry frightful Akshu but not a vengeance filled one!
