I love both of them equally, I want them to learn and grow to be better partners to/ for each other and most importantly better human beings

Even watching her rejection of Sorry doesn’t give me any satisfaction anymore because the guy didn’t really process anything she said that day other than “ I reject your sorry for Seerat ma comment” 🤦🏻‍♀️what a colossal waste.

If we break Abhi’s behavior into Part 1 and Part 2 where Part 1 is during Neel wake/ visitation and Part 2 is after Akshu left Udhaipur.

Abhi seems to have memory of Part 1 and that day the Seerut comment was below the belt. Not everything he said that day was right but somethings he said were right and justified based on Ak’s reckless behavior then. But the seerut comment was to hurt her by drawing on her past trauma as a child. This was a childhood wound that she carried with her and had panic attacks over. He was a monster to bring it up. He remembers that and now six years later figured he’d apologize for it and be done with it. The rest of the stuff he said that day he believes she deserved it and didn’t think needed an apology and even if some of it was apology worthy what was the point of bringing it up, they were divorced and it’s water under the bridge. But I agree, a better man would have apologized for the unilateral divorce, the serial killer tag etc.

If someone did that to me, there is no way in hell I’m going to ever go back to him. I would have slapped a DV case on him and his mom right there and ruined his reputation.

His decision to be poppy and slave is a penance for not protecting his baby brother and for what he believes is Akshara’s role in killing Neel. He is punishing himself.

Abhi has no recollection of Part 2. But Ak is all about Part 2.

In the order of hurts, the Seerut comment is not what deeply hurt and enraged Ak. It’s his cruel rejection of their baby. But Abhi has no recollection of that so he simply does not understand what she meant when she confronted him and asked him to shove his sorry up his a$$.

,Ash I care about what he said, esp that growl in the background when he was looking at Ak that hits me hard, so much hate/ anger, and does he still hold her responsible for ruining his family.

I understand what she’s trying to say that raking up the past is of no use now,( I didn’t understand what she meant by he has paid tenfold already, but has he? I thought he chose to be poppy to ruhi and friend to arooo and to stand by his mom)

Exactly Deepthi. The one time Ak got air time and some awesome dialogue the makers decided it would be inconsequential. Sometimes I want to scream at the makers. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I think at times we tend to judge reel life characters as though they are real. In reality, if my husband had done what Abhi did, I would probably have done far worse things than Ak.

But this is fiction. I am not sure about others. For me fiction is an escape from reality. Thats why I dont watch emotionally charged shows. Whilst I want some reality, I still want my "happily ever after" and I like HC, unfortunately I get easily swayed towards Abhi because of this😩😩. I like PR too, but only found her with this show, so it will take time for me to be influenced by her.
