See any good story on celluloid or TV, except for a certain genre should showcase drama over reality. If they show the reality, no one will watch the TV or a movie. There should be some dramatization of reality so in that few minutes, it will play with our emotions and take us on a high. That is how a movie reaches to heart or tries to convey a message. Why I am saying this is to convey my point that Ghum is very toxic in its narrative. The end result will be as desired but the way they make a single person suffer makes it so difficult to watch. And they drag and drag everyday because they cant reach the conclusion in 22 min. It takes toll on viewers.

However, the dramatization part that I mentioned on how Vinu will show the nature of his blood is to make it more emotinal. If I were a writer I would write like this. Vinu being Chavan progeny and son of VC, he will stick to his promise. He has seen his dad from childhood. He might be Sai's son too, but he is equally Virat's son. The promise he made in the hospital will play out. Or Pakhi's constant brainwashing or emotional blackmail will. play on him. Or his own Aai's seekh that his adopted parents loved him like their own will play on his mind. So he will chose Pakhi, though his heart lies with his mother.

Now, they can show reality here. He is a 7 year old boy. See how Virat breaks down unable to cope up with the pressure of going against his heart. Similarly a 7 year old boy becomes sad and unhappy or even might fall ill unable to cope up with this decision. Here they should bring his illness back, the congenital illness that criples him. He will seek his mother. Pakhi will stop it, inspite of him choosing her she will stop Sai from treating him. The entire family including BK knows Vinu's bond with Sai. They will think he needs his Aai and will forcefully give VInu to Sai. Justice served. The family who snatched Sai's kid will give him back to her. Vinu will find peace and happiness with his Aai.

That is how they need to show without toxicity, some reality and some drama. My 2 cents.

I can see something like this play out for sure....As I mentioned it was obvious Vinu wouldn't choose Sai, and more than legal custody Sai wants a place in Vinus heart - she wants him to call her Aai but he won't at this point as he won't understand things (whether hes manipulated or not I dunno)

But for the story to move forward something else has to happen that keeps Sai involved in his life if not as his Aai then as Dr.Aunty - and Vinu falling injured/ill fits well here

anytime he is hurt he calls for his dr.aunty shes the only one that makes him feel better....same will have to happen again and this time CN ppl will be all for it ! because Vinu is their Chirag and as you said P has lost credibility after the kidnapping and her worth is gone now ....basically they're just putting up with her now for Vinu

If not illness Vinu will choose Sai because P after wining the case will shift her focus to Virat and will start ignoring Vinu . Pakhi never loved Vinu wholeheartedly she only raised Vinu because through him she can have Virat with her .

I am sure Pakhi’s next target is Virat . Same insecurity track will play

Yeah that’s true .. but what Vinayak will know .. even that’s important

Will he know virat is his father and pakhi was the one who gave birth to him and the reason his birth destroyed his parents marriage

If he only knows sai n Savi are his family .. and the Chavans have adopted him .. it is an over dose of upkar abd obligation.. sai herself had told him .. your parents love you forget your blood relationship and accept them as real ..

He will be drawn even more towards sai n Savi and wonder where his biological father is .. why did he abandon them

If he knows the whole truth and then takes pakhi ka side .. then he is true Chavan blood and sai deserves to cut her loss and move on

Yes...it's true. Thing is here Vinu doesn't know the complete truth n even Sai won't tell it to Vinu. It will open another pandora's box.

Only way Sai will get the child is when the boy chooses her or the VP marriage becomes invalid. If it does, then who is Pakhi to Vinu? She is not the wife of biological parent right? I dont know how law works here. She can go for custody as adopted parent, then Vinu will chose Virat amongst the two.
