My two cents, no offense, purly my POV:
This show was suppsed to be about ShivGauri. A blissful day it was when G, in the midst of a crowd stated to G that "Main toh aapke bina hoon hi nahin Shiv..." I was one of those never really able to adjust with Yash in Shiv's role, but nonetheless that does not mean I don't appreciate the actor, so don't get me wrong please. I am a dire Pallavi fan and hence stuck it out for her but then lost track due to several reasons. Anyways, for me, Samar had meant something else... The fun loving, happy go lucky dude next door. When all this happened after Shiv, I think Samar's character slowly fell apart from what I loved it as. I'm not too keen on seeing G with anyone but S, so if G and Samar split, makes no difference to me. That doesn't mean I want him to die though... I just want the old Samar back, which at this point likely impossible. Maybe KAA needs a leap where my sweet Shanti grows up to be Pallavi and since my Mirchi is out of CHA... I would give an arm and a leg to see him and Pallo again. Iqbal and Pallavi are ultimate... Yash was fabulous as the original Samar... I miss him so much!...
