I really like Shraddha. But the leads lack the chemistry required for a Rom-Com. It looks like they are copying Karthik-Nusrat thing.

RK was fantastic in this genre previously but now looks cartoonish. He did a wonderful job in BAH, YJHD, Ajab Prem ki Gajab Kahani. Feels like Shraddha has great chemistry with ARK followed by Varun. This film would have been great with Varun as a lead. He has that Karthik kind of vibe. He and Shraddha would have been good.

RK needs to really find someone for the RomComs.

PS: I feel his Chemistry with Ash and Deepu is the best.

you said it, RK has been miscast. Honestly I have no interest in seeing him romance, I agree he did have great chemistry with DP. Idk about Aish. Frankly I felt their pairing very forced in the trailer, I was uncomfortable. It was all of contrived,

don’t get me wrong, Kartik and Nusrat had done two movies before people realized their chem which btw Kartik never wanted to act with her again,,, god alone knows why. There is this movie called Akash Vani where both Kartik and Nusrat hit it out of the park. Young and certain rawness/naivety- something that makes you feel for the character

This young and rawness is missing from RK in the trailer, ngl - but was missing with Alia too in BA! Anyways hope this works for Shraddha. She is amazing with ARK who god alone knows why isn’t getting good movies. I agree with you, she and Varun would have been good together. I have a gut feeling that his wife has told him not to act opposite Shraddha. They were an item for many years.

@Bold that's the issue. Even if there is nothing going on, people will talk now so whoever came up with this out of the box strategy, really need to step back inside the box because people are creating all sorts of baseless rumours.

Someone on Twitter wrote that KJO did this for his daughter, Alia. He did similar things with PC by keeping her out of parties that SRK attended.

If something did/does happen, there will be mayhem for both Shraddha and Ranbir. Unless people ignore it like they ignored the fact that Alia and RK cheated on Katrina and before that Katrina did same with Salman.

Maybe Bollywood is just a small world. Everyone is with everyone.

Everyone learns the hard way with RK. Shraddha was the only really beautiful woman from the generation left who RK had not been with. Let me correct that the only real beautiful successful woman. So there is that? It is more to do with his ways then judging any woman's character that makes me confident.

Maybe that’s Luv Ranjan’s goal. Get the rumors started again and get people talking about them and then the movie. Maybe he thinks that will generate interest in the movie. I think it’s an idiotic idea but I’m not a marketing person at T-series.

Other possibility is there is a fallout between Ranbir and Shraddha and Luv Ranjan is making excuses.

Nahh Shraddha will be fine. As it is she’s hardly attending Bollywood functions and parties. She pretty much keeps to herself. She has a huge fan base so she’ll always get offers too and won’t be out of work, no matter what comes out in the open.

I honestly don’t think KJo cares enough to do anything to Shraddha the way he did with PC. The drama with PC became a shocker because SRK was known as a loyal family man, and then misogyny took over and some people put all the blame on PC. This time everyone knows what Ranbir is like. His history is out there for everyone to judge. There’s also Alia’s now infamous “emotional infidelity” comment. If/when it comes out Ranbir had/having an affair with Shraddha most people including KJo will just shrug. Some might even tell Alia Told you so.

I am a Ranbir fan but I also know how he treats relationships like daal chawal.

But surely he will not do anything with Shraddha considering he has a daughter now and that he is friends with people like ARK. Also, I feel he has a great deal of respect for Shraddha unlike with any of his other co stars.
