He already knows viaan someone for ONS. Viaan has told him he knew that girl and misunderstood her to be good.

In Viaan's words, I tried to put myself in Katha's place and think from her point of view.
A man who proposed an indecent proposal to her, who also happened to be her boss, after her explicit ask of not wanting to talk about it, didn't draw the line between professional and personal conduct. That proposal itself was harassment at work place but since Katha accepted it for her benefit on her terms it became a transaction. But what Viaan did afterwards was harassment. If anyone was in her place they would definitely quit after that. And Katha did the same.
But I also put myself in Viaan's place. Which I for one would never have done it. But for the show which compelled me do it. He made a mistake knowingly. And to understand her strange ways(from his point) he kept making more mistakes. And once he realized everything it made him stop and reassess his behavior. He figured out the magnitude of his mistakes and started making amends.
The way he cheered for her to join office again. The way he gave the leeway for her to work on her terms. And the way he also asked her to complain against him and accepted her conditions shows how he was willing to change. And not only that he re-assessed his company's policies. He is seeing the mistake from all possible angles. This is what we signed up for and this is what we don't get in many shows. Hope they do it effectively and fully. Even though he can never forget the incident or forgive himself, Oneday hopefully Katha forgives him.
I guess with all the changes Viaan is making, it will force Katha to acknowledge him, his money that saved Aaarav and eventually that night that changed everything. How much ever Katha wants to forget it and move on, she can't do that. It is because of that night, she has a different equation with Viaan, not that of the usual boss and employee. First she needs to process that night, acknowledge her part in it and then come to peace with it.
Ehsan, bhai, first she Sir-zoned you and then yesterday she friend zoned you with that friendly yellow type person. How many hints do you need.
She likes Red, that red which is dangerous for everybody but not for her,that red that she has a love-hate relationship with & that red that Viaan is ...lol

in a romance novel, katha would have enjoyed the night a little despite herself. not 95% but 5% types. so that 5% feeling would confuse her enormously and leave her with a sense of guilt. if this was OTT platform drama, I can see them discussing what happened and how they felt. sony's crime patrol episode can be a bit racy at times but they are clearly in crime dark genre.
would they really tell us their feelings about that night? it would definitely create a lot of chatter as well as headache for those who are clearly anti-viaan. if katha enjoyed it or it wasn't very unpleasant because of how viaan made it for her, then what does it say about him? if viaan tried to take care of her physically to make it as less awkward as possible and on some level, she recognizes that, would it explain why she is not creeped out by him? if this was a romance novel, we would get a peek into what happened that night and we would know their feelings... but in a drama, would 8.30PM audience be comfortable learning such details..
Yup this is true. I guess these are just the limitations of ITV prime time shows. 😒
