I think they use cringe for shock and awe purposes- to stun audience into staying glued to the episode once they have achieved it they will sail on that wave and extend the scenes.

so good TRP means goal achieved no need to show anymore cringe. But use the TRP providing content to extend the wave. So keechenge but no more cringe.
