Whatever has happened in the past leaps and past couples. Vahi hoga…I feel we can’t expect some nuanced writing and characters from this show, it has to be filed under guilty pleasure or comfort viewing while cutting vegetables for dinner

Agreed. In season 1 they shifted from typical conservative mentality to somewhat modern mindset (not fully though) . But this Khandani Doctor family is still living in 80s
