we will have to see how it plays out but my guess is that his attempt to protect her will backfire in big ways. they will see her as a kind of gold digger -- someone who seduced him just to get money for her son's treatment... so stuff along those lines. especially as viaan was not someone who hit on other women or had a girlfriend...
