This is crazy numbers. My intention is not to belittle Ranveer, I have just stated the comparison to highlight the fact that Pathan is a boxoffice Tsunami. I wouldn't be surprised if it does 200cr over the 5 day extended weekend.

It's not hard tbh considering Cirkus's abysmal performance. Ranveer in a double role couldn't take on a VFX heavy SRK 😆

Very few succeed with double roles, Ranbir with Shamshera bombed too.

Not every movie has to cater to intellectuals or romcom lovers or mystery enthusiasts or Anurag Kashyap followers.

Movie has to be entertaining to the target audience.

Pathan deffo ain't my kind of movie. But if children and child-minded audience like Pathan, they've succeeded.

I am going to enjoy this movie in theatres and I am not a child from any angle. Puhleez

Don't think the movie caters to kids. There's gonna be violence and risque scenes for sure. If Pathan ends up catering to kids then it's a failure on it's part because the movie is not set out to be kid friendly. The movie would have failed to what it set out to be - a spy thriller targeted at adults.
