The ONS, I only saw it as a transactional offer. Katha was desperate but she knew what she was getting into.

yea loopholes are part of the story. however, it is difficult to understand katha's point of view given the loopholes. since it was purely transcational offer that she picked among the other worse options, she owned it. that was what had been shown for a number of episodes.

now with the confrontation, it is difficult to understand why she thinks viaan did paap but she didn't -- if he did paap for making the offer, then she also did paap for accepting it. if she feels that she is justified as a mother for doing it, then viaan could also be justified for making this ridiculous offer given his trauma. or is she judging him for being a man with physical desires?

if she thinks that he has to answer to God for judging women, okay that is fine. that part I agree with. but she also judged him and did not tell him. he also does come from a world where flings and one night stands are common in his circle. so is she judging him for belonging to that type of high society? or is she just mad that he hit on a colleague and she sees it as harassment? is she mad at him that he didn't give her a loan when she asked? but why would anyone give that kind of money without any explanation?

we are not able to understand katha's line of reasoning as we have not had any internal monologues to explain her thoughts. so is she a religious person? is that why she is struggling with this choice she made and deflecting on to viaan some of her guilt? is she a conservative person and feels that sex outside marriage is wrong? is she a romantic person and believes that sex should only be between two individuals in love? there is nothing wrong with being conservative or romantic but what are her views on the matter? we don't know. so I need some sort of clarfication into how she operates. otherwise, it is difficult to understand why she would throw out some of the phrases she did when she was yelling at viaan.

my conclusion is that both viaan and katha are very confused characters in this drama. 😆

Hi guys! New member here that came across this show and was absolutely hooked - been reading some of your posts silently and have to say how great all of you are with your writing, really enjoy reading through so many of your posts during my free time. I'll do a quick intro lol! My name's Ayesha and I don't watch too many hindi or ITV serials but they're popular at home with my mom (mostly the reality shows like Indian Idol tho🤪)

First, I'm soooo amazed by this show. I saw a promo recently while scrolling through YouTube, the one where Viaan and Katha walk past each other at some office doors (?) and you can just feel the angst!! Ahhh loved it soo much! Then watched some clips of the more recent episodes like the birthday party, Viaan finding out and omg I AM HOOKED. Slightly crushing on Adnan as well LOL, what a cutie I love him as that hard to break but total softie architect Can't wait to see how they story unfolds. This is def on my must-watch list and I can't wait till I'm able to give it my full attention.

Also, the fact that it's based on a Turkish show!! I love my Turkish shows, started with Ask Laftan Anlamaz (if anyone knows that one) and I have to say I slightly prefer them to the American dramas/sitcoms. There's so much more chemistry, greater storylines and I was so pleasantly surprised that this is a remake. I have no idea about the Turkish show (read some spoilers on one of the threads here) and I'm really enjoying the show. Ugh Ehsan and cha cha Abdali - hoping his character remains the same and they don't ruin his arch too much 🤗

It's been hard for me to catch up because I'm currently in the middle of exams but I was wondering if anyone knew where non-Indians could watch the show (outside of India)? I have the SONY channel at home but the timing it airs conflicts with my uni schedule so I can't watch then and there's no way to watch from the beginning :'( The video episodes seem to be posted on YouTube which I think might be my best bet BUT they always mute out the audios or cut out some scenes and so, I'm wondering if anyone knows where else I might be able to watch all episodes on my own time and get the best, full experience?

I’m a uni student outside of India too, so I actually watch the recent episodes on third party websites (such as Ziddidil, etc). If you search “Katha Ankahee episode today online” you should get some results. I feel bad that I’m not really able to support Sony TV, but I don’t really have much options. If you wanna catch up on the old episodes though, I’d recommend to just see them on Sony’s YouTube channel, as the video quality is good. They upload the episodes after a few days, so you should be able to access the old episodes though.

I cannot hear the exact conversation too, but the general idea is that Viaan opposed the disrespect of women and Katha especially (while he was on the phone call). Ehsan says something (cannot hear this part clearly), but it looks like he is disagreeing with Viaan. Viaan then becomes frustrated saying that it was him who had to change his opinions about women, but what has become of Ehsan. The video basically ends with Viaan saying that though Earthcon has two male bosses, it's high time that women gets respect, or something like that.
