I have been silent reader in this forum and was into hibernation mode from India forums from quite long time.. but this show just intrigued me to come back to discussions !!
Needless to say that today's episode was really heart touching and we saw a growth in Viaan's character.
From the person who stooped so low in his own eyes to the man who now wants to mend his mistakes , One night in this show was all about Katha's darkest night to her new beginnings , I felt this night was Viaan's darkest hour and now his journey is his new beginning. I loved little nuances in the episode showing that after knowing the truth how he recalls his biggest nightmare , him becoming like his father and his brief suicidal thought showing the depth of frustration he felt with himself. Then he gathered courage to reach to Katha's place and his blurting out his apology to her as he cannot find words to actually offer an apology. She did see his remorse but she is a hurt lady and rightly so. I found this very apt that just because she is a mother does not make his offer worse.. She reminds him that even if she was not then also his offer was wrong.. giving him a reality check on his thinking that had become so twisted till the time he offered her that deal.. Aapki kya majboori thi..
His own daemons pushed him so low , he became the person he never intended to be.. and now starts his journey to new beginnings.. first step was to just let her go , do what makes her happy.. if she does not want to work with him... then let it be.
I am looking forward to seeing this new Viaan, I am sure you all are too..!!
