19th Jan significance

Today is the day mass exodus and genocide of Kashmiri Hindus took place..it's observed as the Kashmiri Hindus Exodus day.

Sending Prayers to the departed souls and hopes to the ones living with the pain of separating from their birthplace and loved ones.

I read this and I was almost in tears. We as a society and country failed them. Kept failing for 33 years when we couldn’t even recognize their plight. SC is still failing.

There r so many such stories from our painful past..lives lost, loved ones separated, people leaving behind their life time of savings, beloved people, homes..everything..and starting lives from scratch.

And yet not one of them picked up arms and become terrorists. 

That shows an absolute great deal of resilience and determination to make a future for themselves. Sheer hard work and grit KPs have. More I read, more I am in awe.
