KGF released on a holiday. Pathaan is a non holiday release. 34cr of Sanju is highest non holiday, but that was pre pandemic. 30 cr of Brahmastra is highest non holiday post pandemic, so that should be the realistic target for Pathaan.

KGF holiday opening was 52cr. That is not possible for Pathaan on a normal weekday because I believe people everywhere have to go to offices and colleges till evening

For a Dub film, opening of 52 cr is biggest record.

Between War(50) holiday & Sanju(34) Non-holiday, We can expect Pathaan to cross 40 cr if buxz is really this high.

14 April is Ambedkar Jayanti. It's a public holiday.

Lifetime can only be predicted if Audience like this film like Tiger or War kind of films.

From trailer trolling badly, having a +ve WOM from 1st 5 days, Pathaan has a Mountain Task.

Already Khan Saab's last 2 films were Disaster, so Audience acceptance will show how much this will earn.

KGF 2 Has A Shot To Create HISTORY On Day One

KGF 2 is looking to set the box office on fire when it releases on Thursday as the craze builds as release gets nearer. The advances are fantastic and comparable with anything outside Bahubali - The Conclusion and a couple of Hollywood tentpoles at present. There is the key Wednesday to come for the advance and it could yet catch Bahubali - The Conclusion in terms of collections though in terms of tickets sold it will fall short for sure.

But the story of this film will not be in the advance like a Avengers Endgame or Spiderman - No Way Home which had better advances but on Thursday when the volcano will erupt with a far bigger audience on the day. KGF 2 may not hit record levels in advance but on Thursday it is a huge holiday as Ambedkar Jayanti, Mahavir Jayanti and Vaisakhi fall on the same day which was not the case with those other films which had huge advances and all released on non holidays.

Wherever the advances finishes compared with Bahubali - The Conclusion or Endgame the difference will be that holiday factor as a film with such a craze has not actually got a holiday like this which is going be like a national holiday. The likes of War and Thugs Of Hindustan which are the biggest openers had huge male leads who were pushing the film while the actual films were not a craze like this film.

KGF 2 will have a shot at creating history on Thursday and set a new all time record for the opening day for a HIndi film and if it does not do it will mainly be because of a limited release in the South due to regional versions. Although its probably jumping the gun it does look that the film will create a new high in all the Hindi circuits be it Mumbai, Delhi - UP or a smaller circuit like Assam assuming the morning momentum remains. The signs for this are in the North as Delhi / UP is looking at a double digit opening day and when a circuit like this goes bonkers over a non cast film then it means records are going to be smashed.

The film is from the South but the shot taking does not have that feel and there is more of an international look which is a huge credit to the director. It is because of this that even circuits like Delhi / UP and East Punjab could set records and if the emotions work with the audience then the sky will the limit.

But it wasn't applicable as Other big holidays, Private sector don't celebrate it like Diwali or Eid.

Plus Ramadan was going on during that.
