So both the teams had quite common allergens in their main courses. Restaurants realistically have allergen alternatives on the menu.

Even with their own tasting menu, many dishes couldn't be tasted by Gurkeerat/Aruna/Priya.

I find this really weird about cooking competitions across the spectrum.

I understand they didn’t think of allergens, since they had to cook for 30 today and also this is a competition. But I’d like a round where they have to work around eliminating allergens - atleast the more common ones like nuts, lactose, gluten in some dishes while other should be served as planned (like could happen in a real life situation).

I’d like to see how they can make last minute changes, and work in a situation where they don’t have a dish ready but have to come up with something quickly
