Story is pretty basic...Rich guy with no desire to marry finds that his dad has left a will that states he can access his inheritance only once he marries. Due to this his business is in a crisis and he ends up marrying his intern. Complications ensue.

The first 18 episodes of this show were absolutely wonderful. Then things start to drag. The best thing about the early part of the show is the acting and the way scenes have been shot and directed.

And I know that toxic love was right up your alley! 😆 I have watched vm s on them and I know exactly what you mean. And don't bother with Yali Capkini. Really horrible male lead. Nothing likeable about him. Female lead is a dumb-dodo for falling for him.

I guess you will have to do without Feroze for a while now. I think the way Habs ended, everyone is taking a break from Pak dramas! 🤪 But meanwhile we can keep bombarding the youtube channel to post the English subs for Dil Kya Karey.

I am flitting from one Turkish drama to another at present. Going to watch this fantasy series to be released soon on netflix called Shahmaran. Meanwhile watched bits of this and bits of that. Watching Üç Kuruş at present and really enjoying it.

Sarcy tells me to watch Tere Bin. But I am not really up for another on-air drama so soon. Maybe will watch once 20 + episodes are done.

Toygar Işıklı is unbelievably talented. He's composed some amazing tracks for numerous turkish shows ❤️ I won't be watching Yali Capkini for sure... Currently watching Glory which is very distressing but totally worth watching and Wednesday. Though the latter is not my cup of tea, I actually find it thoroughly enjoyable. Or maybe I'm just in a good mood nowadays after finally leaving my toxic working environment 🤣 Üç Kuruş is really good, nice story and development combined with amazing chemistry...the lead actors have played the couple again in Siyah Beyaz Aşk and the chemistry was fire in this as well... I'd love to watch Dil Kya Karay with subs 🥰 If I could find at least turkish sub for this, I would have started watching already, just like I did with Gul E Rana... Tere Bin is on my never-ending list after some tiktok reels, love the intensity between the leads 👌

Yeah... so I will just let you in on the backstory so that you won't have to torture yourself by watching the early part of the drama. This girl Nigar (Ushna Shah) is sort of super possessive, selfish, and jealous. She conspires with her father to make her brother, Junaid, think his wife is cheating on him and the sister-in-law ends up dying because of this trauma. The brother becomes an alcoholic and starts playing around with guns at home. Meanwhile, Nigar is in love with this guy called Taimur. Taimur is engaged to be married to Saba. Saba had a boyfriend. Nigar helps them to run away which they do on the day of the marriage. In fact Nigar pays the boyfriend to pretend to be the one her sister-in-law is supposedly having the affair with.

Saba's mother dies from a heart attack after this. Then six months later Nigar manages to convince Taimur to marry her. Then she starts getting jealous of the love he has for his family members (mother and 2 sisters--Saliya and Batool). First she finds out Batool is in love with this doctor. She manages to reach out to the doctor's mother who wasn't too into the match and tells her to come to their home and insult everyone so that there is no possibility of making a match. Then once that happens she fixes Batool's marriage with her brother. But soon after the wedding, one night while being drunk Junaid kills Batool. Nigar's father tries to cover it up saying actually that doctor fellow had come and so Junaid wanted to shoot him but instead Batool died. Then Nigar finds out Saliya has stomach cancer. She doesn't tell anyone in the family and keeps giving painkillers to Saliya until she dies too. Then Taimur's mother goes mad after losing two daughters like this....this is when things start turning around. Taimur literally goes from being one of the sweetest and most caring people to a monster who can take down this horror of a wife he has.

First of all, I've no problem with the spoilers. and I'm impressed! I never expected her to have played such a twisted and mean character. Secondly, what strikes me even more than Nigar's wickedness is the male lead's transition. Sounds pretty interesting.

Only first half. Its very long a dragging. In the middle of the show there was a new entry of a whole bunch of new characters which was not necessary.

He is!! In fact, Toygar Işıklı is the composer of the background music for Üç Kuruş as well. I looked up Glory. Seems really interesting. Putting it on my to-be-watched list. I am really glad you left your work. IF the working environment is bad, it can become really detrimental to your mental health.

Üç Kuruş, I absolutely love!! Siyah Beyaz Aşk is also a show that I had binge-watched. But the actors are all different. Üç Kuruş has Uraz Kaygılaroğlu and Ekin Koç. I absolutely love Uraz in it. Totally crushing on him at present, well not him exactly, but the character he plays, Kartal. Everyone needs a Kartal in their lives, I feel. ☺️ The bromance is just amazing in the show. I am really sad it got cancelled after 28 episodes. I wish it had become a long-running show like The Sopranos.

Tere Bin is doing quite well in the TRPs. Also in other news, Feroze has landed in some hot water with celebs again. It is pretty much an all-out catfight at present.
