As you said makers are sadists, so I think Abhi will see Akshu and her happy family (may be at the fake anniversary), will think Abhir is their son. This is when he will accept that Akshu has definitely moved on and is genuinely happy. He knows Abhinav is a good man and loves his son and wife dearly. Why would he have any doubts?

He will return dejected and maate will take advantage of his mental state and viola the wedding preparations begin. Goenkas will be back doing jhoomar again. Whether the wedding happens or not, how Abhi finds out about Abhir being his son, what role Abhinav plays in bringing Abhira together have no idea.

A possible itv cliché scenario:

Abhir will end up going on udaipur trip and Akshu joins him too. He may get hurt and end up in birla hospital. He will need blood and Nav's blood is not a match, so to save her son Akshu will tell Abhi that he is the father and the accusations start flying. Oh god, I am so bad at this. Grace please help me out here.

Food gobbling scene's relevance I didn't get, maybe you guys have a better interpretation...it was a beautiful scene, great acting...but Abhi has had his mumma's food maximum..and mumma is still cooking. Akshu hardly ever cooked everyday food for him. As in this aspect and it's familiarity I didn't get, what has he been starving for exactly like he's eating at the same place, at the hand's of same person😅

The kid's super talented...his scenes with Akshu and Nav have been some of the best post leap; today's scene with Abhi was gold🧡

Yes the walkie talkie scene was so good, so was his ball kicking skills.

here is my interpretation on food gobbling.

Abhi is a dead man walking. He stopped living the minute he lost Akshu. He doesnt feel hunger or thirst but eats to survive so he can keep his promise to Neel.

First time in a long time, he wanted to eat, as he started eating, he felt this strange familiarity(dont think it reminded him of Akshu or may be sub consciously it did), he couldnt stop eating, You could see him tearing up as well. He was surprised/confused at the familiarity and his reaction. Hence the comment about it being homely.

My interpretation could be completely wrong. I may have interpreted it the way I wanted to, because as you can tell I do have a soft corner for Abhi( I dont deny what he did was inexcusable, but I cant bring myself to hating him). Meher and Grace are very good at interpreting these scenes. Meher, Grace, appreciate your thoughts.

On a lighter note though, country's best heart surgeon and heir to Birla hospital with not a penny in his wallet wanted to go out and eat local cuisine. Did he expect Nav to pay for his lunch as well. Shameless fellow🤪

I don't know if what I have written makes sense, but here it is.

His mom is probably still cooking tasty food for him, he probably eats it too, but birla house and what it represents is like a duty for him,it's not home anymore.

His family is in shimla, maybe they are trying to show that he has begun to feel that soul connection/ being drawn to the child in the photo, that voice,abhinav talking abt his wife,his child, touching the name on the dabba.he mentioned in the taxi,I shd have come here a long time back.

it's not about who has made it , the food was very simple, it's as if he recognizes the love with which the food was made, like a sense of belonging. As if it's made for him.,so he was eating it with enjoyment

It also ,in my opinion, symbolizes that coming to shimla has given him life again, food representing joy,

A lonely man has come home.
