They did not show any selection process.

I think Devika was pipped by Rafa based on tonal quality or maybe it was votes.

I thought she would be in top six and those two lil kids would get eliminated no wonder Atanu got to sing solo.

Atanu was simply superb ! In an overdrive to promote sob stories, sympathy garnering, romantic songs and imaginary fights Zee TV forgot it is a talent hunt show and merit has to be appreciated, after being royally ignored for two episodes with seniors Zee TV suddenly woke up today and Atanu did n't disappoint.

This change of mind is after Jaya Prada saw the special talent in him, i think.

If merit was the only criteria then Atharva and Atanu should be the top two IMO.
