For those wondering what happened in the original show of Katha, Got this from Katha forum.

Onur(Viaan) and Sheherzad (Katha) continue to work together. Onur is guilty & gradually they bond and fall deeply in love. Onur's love is unconditional. The lengths to which he goes to earn her respect and love is worth watching. Meanwhile, Kerem (Ehsan) gets jealous of their bonding because he too is in love with her. Then Benu (Rewa) is in love with Kerem. Kerem tries to win over Sheherzad's son Kaan. Onur notices it. But Onur does not force. Slowly, Kaan( Katha's Son) also starts loving Onur. Onur proposes to Sheherzad. Her inlaws also agree to the marriage. but Onur's mom creates problems. Onur goes ahead with the wedding. However, on the day of the wedding, an ex employee of Biniyapi (Earthcon) goes on national TV and accuses Onur of having ONS with her and when she refused, he threw her out. Everybody believes this woman. Even his mother. Onur keeps saying he is innocent. No one listens. Kerem takes advantage of this and tries to get close to Sheherzad. She behaves very badly with Onur. After a while, the same woman again goes on national tv and says she did all this to take revenge on Onur because he threw her out. Onur is proved innocent. Then there is a plane crash incident where everybody thinks Onur has died. Sheherzad goes crazy. Thankfully Onur had missed that flight. After all this, the wedding will happen. Then Onur's past girlfriend who is on deathbed comes with their daughter. Sheherzad accepts her. Then Kerem will again cause misunderstanding by telling everyone about the ONS. Sheherzad will again believe Kerem over Onur. Onur keeps saying he has not said anything to anyone. She does not believe him. They get divorced. In the end, Kerem confesses that Onur never said anything. Sheherzad realizes her mistake and goes back to Onur even though she had decided to marry another man. Onur then tells her that while his love was always unconditional, her love always came with conditions. She never believed him and trusted others. Sheherzad realizes her mistakes and goes back to marry the other man even though she does not want to. On the day of the wedding, Onur comes there with the kids. They all reunite.

I never shipped them though. Mostly because I didn't know there was something called India Forums also where you can meet and chat with like-minded people and ship onscreen jodis🤣 I joined IF after IPK ended. Back then was not active on sm but mohit was trolled badly as he doesn’t deserve someone beautiful as sanaya .

but after sanaya did IPKKND people use to target mohit and barun wife that they don’t deserve them barun and sanaya should be one .
but still didn’t effect their bond

Still whole IPKKND team meets at festival and different occasions .
