I agree it is domino effect from both family and Virat. However, we should stick to the narrative that is shown. At everypoint, it is revealed that virat loves sai. though his actions were opposite.
In support of Virat as husband/lover, look how he responded to sai after post leap. He QUESTIONED her immediately. After seeing her with jaggy, he questioned her with rights. He asked her to EXPLAIN. He didnt let her live in peace till he found out who Savi is. That is the authority marriage gives to question your spouse when she leave him and doesnt return. Sai doesnt show her rights because she comes to conclusion, despite the love they shared. She knows the past and how Virat placed Pakhi over her. She has reasons to believe Virat has moved on. So she will not question though she has rights to do so. Virat's anger and jealousy is of a lover's but the questioning her is his right on her. He tells the same to her on the first day outside KK house. I have right to quesiton and know the answers. However, after certain point you will free the person thinking they have moved on. However, what is a family supposed to do? Sit and talk. Ninad was the only person who was uncomfortable from the time Sai entered. When Savi's truth revealed, he was the one who asked everyone to sit and talk. No one else saw the graveness in the situation. Everyone was hating Sai and taking revenge on her. Ashiwin was scared that her son would get hurt again, so she kept on forcing pakhii on to him. BK was super angry that the chirag was lost. And her respect in the society. ONly Ninad was uncomfortable. That is how they should feel when Sai is back.
Everyone knows Virat loves Sai. We have to go by the narrative. Virat confided in his mother that he will never forget Sai. multiple times. She told her clearly before HM he feels nothing for Pakhi. BK is a smart woman, she knows the effect of Sai on him. Why else would they prevent Sai from meeting them? On the day of accident, she gave back the exact dialogues VIrat lied to her. Sai is not my world he told her. BK didnt buy it then. She gave back the same words. Yes only she is your world. They all wanted to show Sai that they are happy without her. Prove to her, that they can get a chirag without her. It was all anger and ego. Virat's duty towards Pakhi gave them the necessary excuse. Otherwise, no elder in the family will do what Chavanese does. Look at Usha maushi, how she kept on asking Sai to talk to Virat. Thats what people do. Not to force the person to ignore the first wife as if she never existed or mattered.
I hope Karishma made the family to confront this fact. Now also Virat will prioritize Pakhi, but family will not. They will see Sai as Virat's wife now. They are forced not to ignore her anymore. Irrespective of Virat does, they will behave as elders of the family HOPEFULLY. Even if it is to suggest divorce and then marry Pakhi properly. Do something sensible.
