Sajid's query to Sumbul

When Sajid was talking to Sumbul regarding her Dad's re-marriage, I wonder if many people noticed the actual point where Sumbul got up and left.

Sumbul was responding to all useless queries of Sajid and told him that she wanted the best for her father, that's why she doesn't want a young bride for him. Then Sajid said that if she wants the best for her Dad, she should stop him from smoking and then asked Abdu 'U know why she can't stop him from smoking?'.

This is the point where Sumbul rushed out because it seems Sajid wanted to talk about how Sumbul herself smokes as well...

The housemates might not know that viewers are already aware of who all are smokers in this season and in any case it's not that big a deal. As shown in previous episodes, regressive minded people like Stan and Sajid seem to think that while smoking is okay for the males, it's very bad if females do the same.

So, in this discussion, not only did Sajid cause emotional distress to Sumbul by talking about her Dad's marriage but he also kind of tried to bring up the topic of Sumbul's smoking which distressed her even further..

I wonder if he's interested in Sumbul physically. He himself is egoistic and controlling in nature and such people want and get attracted to docile & submissive partners. That's why he raised the question of her father marrying a 22 year old girl. He wanted her views and opinions on how appropriate is it for her if there's a considerable age difference between a man and the woman in marriage.

Well spotted. Given his extensively documented past behavior, he probably does have that at the back of her head.

Sumbul can't win, it seems, as she gambols from one controlling male to the next. If she does stand up for herself, it might make for an interesting late season twist. Not just her, even Shiv would show real character if he confronted Sajid, because he is actually conflicted regarding the so-called mastermind. Nimrat and MC Stan are both spineless and cowardly. Abdu, on the other hand, has done all he can to keep Sajid close, but with clear boundaries (that of course, the director refuses to see).

Oh god! No... I hope he isn't interested in sumbul or any girl in the house that way... Just read the details of accusations against him... Its sick, disgusting and just vile... No girl should be anywhere near his interest

Sajidah himself is a chained smoker and he was just talking crap anything to have a go at her just being the bully he is,

On a serious note, This where people like Sajid can go all out and control young submissive girls like this for whatever they want, he's already doing so much on camera, imagine what he does outside of it.

Sumbul needs to get therapy or have someone sit and talk to her about her severe lack of self esteem despite her work outside. She has very low self worth and this is why its important to Father your daughters, I can bet it has to do with her useless Father who seems like a big opportunist

When a girl isn't secure in her equation with her Father and doesn't get that love or that genuine bond, they end up like this seeking validation from older men and being emotionally manipulated, such girls can easily be coerced into sex once you control them emotionally. There are some girls who play dumb but are actually smart, Sumbul ain't one of those, she's really low on self esteem from her mannerisms her body language throughout the show.
