Aaj toh I have a day-off, so thought I would write a proper opinion.

Episode opened with Katha in Viaan's office and him trying to strike up a personal conversation. Katha retracts into her shell and recoils with Viaan coming close to her. Yeh banda kyun offend ho raha hain? As if he is the sanest person around and that she is unnecessarily recoiling. Kaand jo kiya tha. bhool gaya kya?🐷 I legitimately don't understand his expressions, as if he is some kind of a wounded puppy, tu mujhe use kiya aur mujhse dur bhi jaa rahe ho type of expressions😲 Girls, do any of you understand this? It seems like he is offended that she didn't turn up to be a gold digger????

And then, I was wondering why there is a close up of a generic purse. So, he is sizing up her belongings, ki yeh koi luxe brand ka hain ki nahin?😔 I am so confused with his thought process. He thought that she is upgrading herself, but why the specific amount? She is not using it to hire a personal assistant or to board her puppy nor is she buying expensive things. Toh, kya kar rahi hain money se. I like how he is squirming with restlessness😃

Katha's superwoman skills need to be toned down a bit now. Yesterday's "Arabic in 30 days" is too jarring👎🏼. So, they would rather rely on this woman who learnt Arabic in 30 days over a certified translator to ensure authenticity of historical writings😒😲 Okie dokie

Love Phalguni behen and the doctor❤️. Domino effect on her free time too. If Katha works overtime, Phalguni works overtime too. Her words hinted as much.

Viaan invading Katha's space as he stands with his hand on the back of the chair is super- creepy😡, hero or not😡😡 Ewww....... brings back memories of my school days with super creep male teachers👎🏼🤢His gaze throughout the meeting is 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 Ehsan nodding his head in distaste as he badgers Katha is how I felt.🤢 I am sure all the other people at the table felt that way.

Gadha kahinka puts words in Ehsan's mouth by asking " do you like Katha"? If Katha is badgered, people can't pull him up unless they like them romantically? I am glad he didn't see Jeetu sir giving Katha a plate of food, otherwise, this green monster would have done a jee-huzuri there too with Jeetu sir " kahin aapko Katha pasand toh nahin hain"? 😉

OK, I signed up to see major groveling by Viaan.😈 Itna groveling chaahiye ki, Viaan ab tak ke saara clueless, God-like MLs ke hisaab chukana hain.😎😈 Am I asking for the impossible?I am loving the show with it's complexities, especially a clueless ML who almost seems comical🤣Sherni FL is ruling the roost👏

Have to admit, I am liking the vibe of this architectural firm. I have no idea about this profession at all, didn't even think such emergencies existed in their work. Now, I can see how this can be an emergency as very high stakes are involved. I am liking that I am getting a perspective👍🏼

Yes, I’m not getting the bit about why the ML is surprised when the FL recoils after he invades her space.

I don’t understand why he went through the ONS as others have said elsewhere I get why the FL went down this route but what has been his gain?

I’m not sure what the ML is trying to portray bit maybe it’s early days. I like both the ML and the ML.

Viaan is gone. He is not indifferent to Katha. From what I understand, Viaan is on the lookout for someone to save him from himself. I don't know about the pace of the OG show, and when the ONS happened. All of us are confused with Viaan's actions because we don't understand what makes him tick. Did the makers rush the ONS here? Do we blame the writers for till date no one understands Viaan?

My POV: Viaan is intrigued by Katha. She is different from everyone else. She is intelligent, solution-oriented, respectful but dares to go against her boss for the benefits of the company. We are spoilt here for the 1st time in ITV, we got a dabaang FL and the ML is acting like a confused FL. Although it did not show but I think that Viaan is attracted to Katha at a subconscious level. Like I said initially, he is not indifferent to her. But he does not understand his feelings, and hence acting irrationally. He tried to sort out his feelings by labelling Katha as a gold digger once she made the loan request. It was much easier for Viaan to place Katha in that well-known box. Still he was conflicted internally. Hence, he made the ONS offer. Apparently, he kept waiting for Katha to back out but he does not understand her principles. Katha was desperate for that money. She would never have pulled out from the deal no matter how repulsed she felt. For me, even though there was consent, there was no real consent from Katha. This is the part which confuses me. How could Viaan not know? I blame the limitations of ITV as they could not show more about the ONS. I am not interested in the actions but the expressions of both characters. Now Katha feels a repulsion around Viaan. I understand her but Viaan doesn't. A woman is not feeling secure in his presence. He can see it but doesn't understand it. He keeps invading her space. Viaan is one messed up individual. He is now feeling jealous about the presence of other people in Katha's life. We cannot call this attraction or love for even Viaan does not understand what is happening. How can this love story develop when the woman feels repulsed by the man? Unless Katha actually enjoyed the act and is disappointed with herself? Is Katha protecting herself? All the best to the writers for disentangling this situation.

Amidst all this confusion, they have thrown in the Ehsan angle. Any normal person would fall for Ehsan. He is a partner in the business, appears well off but I don't understand what he does🤣except trying to save Viaan and others from Viaan🤣is this a story of falling for the bad guy? Are we resorting to clichés? Or are we going to unpeel Viaan Raghuvanshi to make him become palatable? 🤣

Sorry Mili...I think that I am leaving you with even more questions🤣I am also loving the fact of seeing the show mostly revolving around the architectural firm. Missed Rewa. We did hear her on the phone so maybe the actor is currently unavailable. Hence, they are sending her off to Singapore.

Having said all this, I am loving the show. Finally we are seeing something different on ITV.

I am enjoying watching THE MOST CONFUSED ML of ITV. Viaan is so confused that he makes us audience also confused, ki actually what does he think, what does he wants, why he does what he is doing. And Adnan is doing a very good job in portraying a confused Viaan

As written by Shalzie, I too feel that he was somewhere attracted to her since day one, and wants to be assured that she is different from others. Things went well till the moment she asked for loan, and at that moment he put her in the GOLD DIGGER category, then the saga of TESTING by Viaan started.

What I feel after watching confused Viaan is like, a history teacher setting biology question paper for a mathematics student and by mistake a geography student attempts all questions. Now the teacher forgot to make answer key to the question paper and he himself is confused ki which one is right answer and which is wrong. So the teacher himself is trying to find out the answers from the student herself, but the student is so smart that she is not giving away the answers. Ho gaya sab confused

We are fortunate to get a role reversal of FL and ML in ITV. Here Katha is hero and Viaan is the heroine

Viaan is trying to put his thoughts on to Ehsan, and now he is getting irritated by Ehsan's "Maybe". I don't think he is getting jealous. He wants to save Ehsan from Katha, because to him Katha is a gold digger

The most exciting part will come only after 2nd ONS offer. He will get to know her reason for ONS. And that will push him down the bridge of all his mis conecpts and he will fall into the deep hole of guilt. It will be quite interesting to see how he runs behind her to seek forgiveness and the love blossoming in the process

I am happy that show is aired on Sony. Hope that we get to see the same pace and character progression as the story progress

I think they should have shown Viaan’s attraction develop a lot more, before the ONS. That might have somewhat explained (not justified, only explained) why he went thru with it, coz he was mightily attracted to her despite his misgivings that she is a gold-digger.

Also, on Katha’s side they should have shown some scenes of company management insisting on authenticity above talent & everything else, hence her unwillingness to reveal that she misled them on being family-less.

These small enhancements in screenplay could have infused more sense into the plot.

Another loophole - does Viaan know that Katha had made a formal request to Jeetu sir for a huge company loan? Which gold-digger asks for a company loan first when she can seduce the boss?

Btw I checked the rules, and asking for a ONS from a colleague, especially junior colleague (whose career u hv power over), whether offering money or asking just like that, would come straightaway under the sexual harrassment at the workplace act, if Katha or even a 3rd party (say Rewa) were to report it. Even if the employee had consented.

So CVs are treading on thin ice here, and shd have established some attraction, from both sides in fact, to make this more palatable.

There was such a scene in the OG.. But it seems like they are skipping this in this version based on one BTS video that was posted yesterday.. Not totally sure though..

It was there in OG. During Dubai trip. So I guess it will be here. And after that only he will get to know the reason.

We must understand that Viaan is a super confused, impulsive, egoistic rich guy, highly prejudiced and privileged. He has no life experiences with any women, other than his mom and the one who caused his father to leave them. Even he does not know the story of that woman's side.

So to me, Viaan represents a very realistic guy, not a typical ITV ML. So I am fine with his second offer.

If Viaan can make a first offer to Katha, his employee, out of no where just because she asked for a loan, he can offer second time as well. As of now, they had ONS, she appears ok after that, has no effect on their work and professional relations, she is least affected with ONS. So he takes it as this is a very common thing for them.

The only confusion he has is now, WHAT DID SHE DO WITH THE MONEY? And WHY SHE DID NOT TAKE BRIBE FROM PYRAMID and WHY SHE CHOSE TO HAVE ONS?

to be honest, that is a question I have as well and I am not sure I understood the drama's logic. depending on how we view katha, we are going to have different reactions to the same scene. there are folks who have extreme reaction (in my view) and I disagree with it. this is katha's choice. for me, katha always had a choice to take a bribe from pyramid but she seemed to think one night stand was a better option than that. if it was me, I would have opted for kitchen politics and harassed my in-laws, sweetened mamaG and played that game. again, no idea why she didn't do that either. so if we keep aside those, we need see katha as a woman who is making some interesting decisions and see her reactions based on that. we need to accept katha as an independent woman who owns her choices.

so based on that, here's my reaction: as I watched the episode, I saw two super cagey people circling each other. it reminded me of two cats who look warily at each other and you are wondering which one will attack first. when one comes in a bit close, the other hisses and jumps. then the first cat leaps back. (we have lots of cats in our building and I own a cat as well). so I don't see katha being repulsed per se or afraid. this fella annoys the hell out of her and she likely does not have respect for him...

so their interactions will depend on our lens.
