My understanding so far....

So.. I have not seen this show yet... because the early promos were so depressing.. that I just was not interested.

Now somewhat know the basic premise.. adapted by Turkish series.. single mom.. cancer kid.. stoic businessman... one night stand in exchange for money...

I am not sure if I am still interested in it..

But I don't understand.. what kind of test was the one night stand?

I understand that this series for the most part is different from the typical saas-bahu format.. and people love the real problems and realistic portrayal of the actors..

I don't want to judge a show without watching it.. so I am asking your opinions.

I am bored by the male leads who have such hollow(stubbornly rigid) opinions of women in general... only to be later redeemed by the female leads.

Is this that kind of story? Should I watch it?

this is one of the best show i have ever seen. katha's acting is very good and i am very excited and very eager to see viaan redemption. i this you should see it rest your choice, but this is far better than saas bahu drama.

I’m also loving my it. The FL is fantastic her acting is bang on - yes parts are boring but it’s seems to all be about setting the scene for the story to unfold. I like Katha’s confidence- after the ONS (was she forced into this by a man in power) is another post and individual viewpoints. In my opinion she did whatever she needed to get her son treated and I like the fact that she is strong and not blaming anybody - thought she is clearly rattled when the ML comes too close.

I’m liking the ML and as others have mentioned his brain cells are starting to work - there are lots of onvioyz questions he could have asked but then there wouldn’t be a story.

It’s early days but I’m enjoying the story snd the acting - I hope it doesn’t get ruined like most shows. It’s a natural show and not OTT like all serials are - in terms of fashion and everyday wear.

I’ve ff very few scenes and that’s saying something as I almost do everything on ff🤭

There are loopholes in the plot not gonna lie

But right now I’m watching for the acting & sizzling chemistry between leads. It’s rare that we get such 🔥chemistry between leads. Many shows nowadays just cast cute young girls with men twice their age. So gross to watch cus I can’t see chemistry between 16 yr old & 35 yr old 🤮

Here we have mature actors, with pasts & just the way the office scenes are done ..there’s some thought and detail put into it

Will say some of the episodes are boring (hospital) but it seems to be picking up now

Story is bold,Pace of the show is good,not beating around the bush ,i guess this is limited episode series (not sure),Casting of the show is bang on and Actors are just phenomenal.Hoping later on it doesnt become the typical saas bahu drama.There are loop holes in the story but the chemistry of the leads forces one to overlook the odd HR policy of earthcon that forces FL to lie for the job .

Overrall best show on ITV ri8 now .i know it wont get much trps as it is a sony tv ,show but it is highly soul satisfying to watch this show.

Because it's a rape, and it's one of the classic symptoms. Being a victim doesnt mean you're not strong, ofc she's strong but that doesnt mean she cant be a victim. She's forced to sleep with, forced into prostitution. She doesnt have a choice.

He wanted to. And he's a rapist at core. Lemme explain why, when he touched her, she shuddered in fear. He's not physically able to, went through the whole proccess makes it clear. I know proper fkbois who'll nope out, bcz this is just clear rape.

Besides considering it's OG Turkish, and now Indian, it makes more sense in a disturbing way because this is what women are taught. In a good marriage, submit to your husbands, they'll fulfill your needs and you gotta be available physically. Esp when that man is rich, educated, well off, good looking, and getting you coffee afterwards, it's not a rape.

Hopefully the show diverges and concludes with him being ousted as a rapist.

Test was whether she's moral integrity enough to sleep for money or not.

Because he's obviously not the one who's at fault for soliciting sex from his sub ordinates. Or raping shuddering woman.

Katha made conditions, that night has ended for her, the deal was done. She doesn’t want to encourage Viaan to think he can have more beyond that night. He needs to stop invading her personal space though.
