IMO a good friend is someone who would correct you on your mistakes. That’s where Shiv goes wrong, he blindly supports them in everything.

he has to be one of the biggest losers in the house. too obsessed with keeping his jhund together and play safely. he says the mandli members call each other out when one goes wrong - when does he do this? humne to kabhi nahi dekha. is se behtar to sajid hai at least he told mc to stop and stuff. shiuuu is always enabling and egging them on even when they are wrong ya phir yeh patli gali se nikal leta hai by ignoring all the nasty sh*t they say esp mc. he has never told mc that he's wrong

Ghosla se toh yeh sab darte hain - they know he’s a loose cannon - and when he gets whitewashed by Sallu and BB for out and out violence, toh one can’t even fully blame people for wanting to steer clear. BUT - Shiv was truly the only one who didn’t just steer clear - he actively participated with ghosla - picked up that chair to hit Sha with and so on. You can only take the loyal friend thing so far before people begin to see right through it.
