Katha has to take few days leave from office for her critical child to undergo bone transplant in hospital, even post treatment till Aarav is discharged she may need to be available mostly. Feel her resignation & friction at work place with Viaan was purposely added around this time in KA story, so that Viaan or Ehsan don't get to know about Katha being a single mother stressed with a sick child, yet.
Being a new joinee, without giving proper reasons with just 'I have some personal work so want off',🤔 may appear irresponsible/reckless when Katha here has to take off more than a day.
So feel even after Viaan persuades or orders or apologizes her in cafe, Katha may demand couple of days to think over before she takes back her resignation or resumes office, or can request to work remotely for couple of days and deliver things, if there aren't any pre-scheduled meetings.
Yes such elaborate things about cancer treatment / hospital happenings need not be shown, but guess director/writer wants audience to prioritize plus empathize with Katha and her son more, rather than discuss and think about that dark night or judge her controversial decision.😔 Katha's immediate scenes with Viaan will remind viewers more about it, so feel after Aarav's discharge more importance in script may be given to work place events & main leads hate to love slow transition.
