See, even without experience,10k is too less. You can't even pay your rent with it. Even for an internship, the average salary is between 20-50k. Besides, he may have been working at his store, but there are a lot of transferable skills (usually), like customer relationship, sales, inventory management, finance management, accounting.

I don't live in India so didn't have any idea about the salaries. This makes it sound like either they just came up with a random number or are showing him being taken advantage of. Or maybe even trying to exaggerate how difficult it is to earn any decent amount of money. If not, they couldn't show them in such financial despair. We always struggle to figure out what they intend to show anyways.

Do you think writers bother to do some research jo yeh samajte hai that every family has a anpad like Shiva what would they know about the salary of new comers and that too when dev is academically brilliant .

Nuclear families mein they can't show planning plotting of Husband wife on each other.

So that's why they bring big families for drama.

But it is soo ott they show.

Aisi family mein log khush nahi reh sakte if only 1 person ki chalti hain.

Dora itna kuch kar chuki haina ki agar Family ko sacchi saath rakhna hain toh they need to stay away.

Log saath tab rehte hain jab dil saath ho aisi harkato ke baad ek chatt ke neeche rehkar bhi saath nahi rahenge rather it will be bad.

It might br a chindi company.

The first company i worked for as a fresher gave me 3000 rs as salary as a software programmer..in 2011...my house helps salary was 7000 then....i think min legal wage for programmers were 6000/- then... but it was chindi startup company..i joined it just to learn and get experience..

So for logics sake maybe dev joined a chindi startup..but still its insane considering dev is an mba topper😆..

Even in Delhi there are many people from our family who live here, but we all live faraway from each other.

Joint families are good, meri mumma rahi hain, she has seen healthy relationship and I am seeing in my Nani's side but now even they don't live in single house rather bade mama shifted floor above, as kids are growing and everyone needs space before things gets dirty or something. My Nana- Nani made them do that.

Papa ki toh khudki kaafi badi family hain they don't have much cousins. I have seen his relationship with my buas kids as they are closer to his age & we always tease him that he remember everything about them and how he always talks with them for hrs even now 😆

Maine seekha hain that Joint ya nuclear family matter nahi karti, matter karte hain log joh hain and how they manage it.

& by giving Dora so much power they all aren't fit to live in a joint family.
