to answer your question NOPE he has never been a main character, the max screentime he ever got in an episode was when Archana strangled him besides that all he's ever done is say sir sir sir and be a pooch to the mandali. His so-called "rivalry" with Priyanka has died down too ever since Priyanka vs Archana has taken the spotlight.
