Where he'd kidnap them from? They won't get anything by kidnapping them. And look at his condition. He takes therapy here from long time.

Also he used to be an great ex police officer. Either he's temporary friend of Sai or he'll give Sai the lead regarding og Vinu.

Don't think he's brought in to whitewash Chavan either.

I really liked the brief Sai-Sahiba interaction where Sahiba says- arey nahi I dont want to bother you/be a pareshanni when Sai offered her to stay in her house for 2 nights. Sai immediately retorts with- haan pareshaani hogi but koi nahi you can sleep in the bathroom and that gets everyone to chuckle. Its a sweet scene. I liked that it was original. its not anything earth-shattering but for me such sweet , very spontanoeus moments are the essence of a good show. Unfortunately its few and VERY far between in Ghum. Plus these little comebacks of Sai to convince people are so uniquely Sai Joshi. She is that person. So her quick witted line about- haan bathroom mein so jaogi toh no pareshani- thats such a Sai Joshi type thing to say. We havent got a taste of that old Sai Joshi in a long time. It was a refreshing scene. its a small thing but it was very nicely performed. No overacting by any actor. In fact even the other sidey doctor guy gave a very natural reaction. I loved that moment. Very sweet.

I just don't understand Bhavani at first she was so nice to Vinu, she got a gun for him and all, they were playing and in next scene, she calls him paraya

I hope Virat promises Vinu that u will sleep with me n my room n the new double bed once he's found by Sai.
