I don't think even Katha considers herself a victim here. She is just thinking about her son. She wants him alive at any cost. If that cost is ons with Viaan be it. Thats what her thinking process is.

Regarding Viaan, what he did was plainly disgusting but he didn't blackmail her in anyway. He himself has said its a simple offer you can take it or reject it. Katha was never going to get a loan from company anyhow. Because she just isn't eligible for it. If she was eligible for it or had told him the whole story and he still asked for an ons in exchange of money it would have been a blackmail.

She still had an option to ask from Ehsan or better beg her MIL for money. She sure would have arranged it. She had an offer from rival as well who was offering her one crore. I am not saying her choice is right or wrong its just that she made the choice for herself.

And I really feel Katha should have told why she needed money straight up to Viaan. The money she is asking is huge. So the least she could do was tell him why she needs it

hahahaha.... classic ekta kapoor! I remember this arc in kausati zindagi ki (S1) -- prena and anurag have one night stand to create baby for donor even though they are both married/relationship with other people (komalika and mr.bajaj)

You were telling she has no other choice thats why she is a victim.Maybe difficult choices but she still has choices. She could have told him the reason and requested him for money again. She has been telling her story to bank people and in that video also so why not Viaan? Why not go for the rival company offer?

If she is a victim of circumstance then the same can be said for Viaan as well. His life experiences have made him that way. He too seems to have a traumatic childhood bad experiences with people.

Just something I was wondering. Don't throw chappals at me for this. Let me put this disclaimer first. I am not justifying Viaan in any way. What he asked was really disgusting and anyone shouldn't face it. But was just wondering about the general thinking.

Why do we consider Katha right here? I am not saying her choice is right or wrong nor judging her for it but generally ons is considered morally wrong. Why aren't we saying kuch bhi aur karleti par she shouldn't have accepted this? Yes she needs money for her son but who decides what reason is right to say yes to an ONS? And what reasons are wrong? If ONS itself is considered very wrong then no reason should justify it.

No way supporting Viaan or his offer. It was as most people agree here was extremely indecent. But why is he being judged for offering it when we aren't judging Katha for accepting it? We are okay with her choice because we have seen her suffer, we know her motivations behind all this. We haven't seen Viaan's. He too may have suffered immensely due to whatever reasons and his prejudices may have overwhelmed him at that moment to just test Katha and make that offer on an impulse. And if its just about intentions (and Katha is not being judged for her choice because her intention is to save her son), then why judge Viaan who also doesn't have bad intentions as well. Like he is not sleazy lusty boss taking advantage of his position and going behind an employee and trying to bed her. He too just wanted to test her and no way wanted this ons to happen. And in all probability would have immediately apologized to her and even offered her the money if he hadn't heard her manzoor hai.

Yes he is no one to test her but again we can't really put both their actions in morally right or wrong category 😆

in regards to your question about viaan offering one night stand -- see how ishaan reacts when viaan tells him he is meeting someone for the night. he is so cool about it like this isn't a big deal.

within our culture, we have a mix of both conservative as well those who are not and those who are somewhere in between sanskari and fast lifestyle. basically that is what creates confusion as there can be culture clashes between people.

there are people who live this fast lifestyle and the hookup culture does exist here. people are using these dating apps to meet up and have very casual relationships.

from what the drama has shown, viaan moves in that kind of circle where casual relationships, one night stands and transactional relationships are common. that is why he is so bitter and jaded. that is his worldview.
