If there was one I would tell you, there are too many off campus 🤣
I studied in the UK, two of my friends from school were also going to the same university but their visas got rejected and they we’re waiting for new ones. We applied for the same accommodation, it’s a lottery system. They got the same accommodation in the city and I get assigned to a notorious dingy accommodation full of velas (fun though) 🤣.
the accommodation is dorm style with boys and girls alternating every floor and it was like quandrangle shaped so every block had access. I was perhaps the only international student in my block, overall there were perhaps 3, a bit of a culture shock. I made friends relatively quickly though.
My friends wanted to go out but I had lab class the next day so it was the week after freshers. I was like I’m staying in my room as I needed to prep. It’s 1 am and I forgot to lock my door. This completely half naked drunk man opened my door (his gf was a few doors down). I’m in shock, he’s staring at me in shock 🤣. I’m like ? , he is too drunk and falls flat on my bed. I’m like wtfff, swearing at him to get out. Then I went to his gf also drunk and she gets furious at him.
Instead of getting her drunk bf out she’s yelling at him, he’s mumbling sorry as she kicked him out while fighting 🤣. Finally I had to request two guys on the bottom floor downstairs to pick this guy off my bed, I was afraid he was going to puke on my bed but all he did was drool all over it. Ahh fun times.
