Makers are smart they judge the reaction of audiences through SM that’s why they used accident track to bring this change . Now they will test waters to see if V and P sharing bed is acceptable for audiences . They will slowly show them sharing bed in next few episodes otherwise they wouldn’t show a new bed instead they would have joined the old beds so it would have been easy to separate when P asked for it . Beds won’t separate that’s guaranteed and they will show V won’t let it happen which is a progression in itself .
When V hugged P it was an emotional hug though i didn’t like it . We have seen Sai hug other men too and it was platonic similarly the hug at that time was platonic. Feeding threw me off so I can’t justify those scenes . Button scenes were during the time he was injured so I didn’t find it odd . The anniversary coat scene was more intimate than button scenes .
intimacy is being comfortable with the person in the close space . They are certain things you can’t/won’t do with everyone and sharing bed is one of them . When he did with Vinu in the middle was itself a progression but that had a valid purpose and he was back to single beds after that .
Again I want a scene from V where he says he can’t fall for P until then it’s hard for me to believe he doesn’t feel for P in that way . The mesmerized scene where he was shown getting physically attracted to her is not fitting with the narrative that he doesn’t have feelings for P .
But if they wanted why did they skip the hospital scenes! There were so many stark visible differences in the hospital scenes...

They showed such a long dream sequence of Sai about VP getting United, he'll love on... When such things are shown usually it never happens! I'm not saying this ph can't do that...
But we all expected hospital sequences in full force but her hospital got wrapped within few mins. Virat was nowhere involved in it... Also after Pakhi coming back... They've TRPs with them why did they skip all of it when they could've copied that sequence? Everyone thought that'd happen... But it didn't...
They show comfortable & uncomfortable with P at times very conveniently...
Also how come he went work when she's just went through a deadly accident?
