I don't get it why is nehmat still silent, okay she can be silent in front of her saas and other sasuralis I get it but what about advait why is she mum infront of him

She is a freaking journalist ya wo job gai teil lene wo sirf article publish karne ke liye dikhaya tha by using her profession she can easily threaten advait that if you do anything wrong with me I will expose you in media as he only cares about his image and career

This will shut him up for good and for a long time 😎

Nehmat's situation is kinda tough. I get her silence though because she is unable to reconcile with many things.

First thing first, unlike Tejo she has gone through a massive heartbreak. The fact that she isn't lashing out like Fateh speaks a lot about Tejo's influence in her.

Second, she somewhere considers herself responsible for the mess. She knows she has been loyal but then again, she was the one in those pics. She knows that's why Mallika and Ekam feel betrayed. She is hurt but circumstances have made her party to the situation Advait Ekam and Mallika are in.

Thirdly she is at uneven ground with Advait. For all she knows, Advait probably loved Mallika. She feels bad about it too. Her trying to give him sorted replies ans letting him vent without saying anything highlights that she thinks him to be a victim of the forced marriage too. Let's face it, only the audience knows about his Kands. For Nehmat, he is a good person.

Lastly it is Naaz. Her sister tried to kill herself. Nehmat would not want anything to jeopardize her sister's fate. She would do anything for Naaz's happiness and if it meant turning a deaf ear to some taunts so be it.

All these factors + the fact that Kapoors are an unfamiliar ground where she already knows they are not fond of her give the basis of her quiet receptivity.

However that doesn't mean she is a doormat. Like Advait's uncle told her not to be a furniture; Nehmat would soon return to her form - the real Nehmat who has been lost for some time.

And the uncle's words are prophetic - one day everyone will be glad she married into the family and that is the absolute truth.

Because Nehmat is the salvation of those in the family innocent of the murders. And it is Nehmat's fate that has brought her so close to the existence of the criminal who killed her parents so that justice isn't far away.

@blue: Yes, destiny placed Nehmat so near to the murderer of her parents so that she could learn the truth. IMO Advait, who thinks Nehmat is a troublemaker, will eventually feel grateful that she entered his life. Especially given that she is the only one who can rescue him from his father's sins. However, I'm unsure of how the other Kapoor family members will react once the truth is revealed.

I think advait is lashing out at nehmat at the moment because he can't vent his anger at his dad for forcing these marriages down his throat first in form of mallika and now nehmat and in his mind he thinks nehmat had no reason to agree to marry him when she is in love with ekam. So i feel when he gets to know that ekam had cut ties with nehmat because of those pictures and because naaz threatened suicide if nehmat did not agree to marry advait then he will understand and sympathise with nehmat that she had no choice to marry him and that's when he will soften towards her and try be cordial with her or try and be her friend.
