Jasmine never did anything to stop fatejo, marriage. The scene that you are talking about where jasmine came back and tried to stop fatejo marriage and fateh didn't listen was actually fateh's dream, only for that dream to break when he sat at mandap with tejo and saw jasmine on balcony not caring (at that point jasmine had also taken off her bridal clothes and jewellery and was in normal clothing whilst fatejo marriage was ongoing).
Jasmine never attempted to stop the wedding at all, even when tejo came to jasmine's room requesting her to change her mind and informed her everyone is telling her to marry fateh instead, and hearing that jasmine had no real reaction and just said she doesn't care go marry fateh and even handed tejo the bridal bangles too. She literally gave tejo the go ahead to marry fateh, something jasmine failed to remember later or that tejo had pleaded with her to not break the marriage with fateh. Then later when the marriage rituals of fatejo started, jasmine at the balcony and watched their marriage go on with a blank face with no shock or tears, and fateh saw jasmine watching him marry tejo but jasmine was not reacting and she went back into her room.
It was only when jasmine found out fatejo bidaai had happened and she missed it that she finally gave some reactions and she ran crying to the door sad that she didn't get to see tejo before she left. Which is also why I found it weird why almost right after the marriage they showed jasmine's flip in character of showing her crying for tejo after her bidaai, to then lashing out at tejo during the pag phere rasam for stealing fateh. The writers seemingly changed the story and jasmine's character overnight after fatejo marriage else why would they have shown jasmine more heartbroken at missing tejo's bidaai than being bothered that fateh married tejo.
Oh boy!! Seriously!!
