Because anyone would have easily understood that Nehmat is going through helplessness because the final decision of her sister's marriage is in her hands.

How very convenient of advait to think only he is helpless and not nehmat. Advait doesn't care if his brother's wedding is cancelled but nehmat cares if her sister's is (it's another thing nehmat has no idea that naaz herself is responsible for this situation), but advait really is being insensitive and selfish here.
