I don't understand Shweta's parents at all. They first forced their daughter to stay with complete strangers (to learn to take care of her child), then blackmailed her into marrying into that house (either that or be homeless) and now are letting their daughter and grandchild stay on the streets begging. Either give her the money and end all this or take a legal route to gain their grandson's custody. But showing them so unbothered is very strange.

though what they think & perceive and what comes across are poles apart.

shweta’s story initially worked more for Deven.

Last weeks it worked due to finally audience getting evil being trapped.

Then her showing mirror worked because that reflected audience frustrations with storylines.

They literally took dialogues from Sm & this forum chatter.

What they are playing out now: is again as bizzare as bhabhi’s bachcha obsession.

If they wanted to blame everything on Shweta's past they shouldn't have shown her being so cold, callous and calculative. Instead of trying to get away from the family her sole focus seemed to be on destroying them and not even the ones she believed had wronged her.

Just having her repeatedly apologise to the baby did not make her actions any more acceptable. Again the writers penchant for taking things to extremes made her an out-and-out criminal who deserves jail not sympathy.

Her parents behaviour was something that really surprised me. They were shown so concerned about her when they first got her back in a terrible condition but then later were almost indifferent towards her. Them wanting her to take care of her own child made sense but them not wanting to contribute towards that didn't. Why could they have not just helped her raise the baby instead of making her live with complete strangers who had only looked after it for a very small amount of time. She had just come out of a bad relationship so why force her into an unwanted marriage with a person she made clear she did not like and a family they didn't know much amount. Marrying her off so quickly without even inquiring about any of them was so ridiculous.

As a Harshad fan who has continuously watched his shows till swabhigiwati bhawa , I can say he is absolutely terrible in yrkkh . His voice modulation , ajeeb se awaaz nikaale

When he actually deserved tab dete nahi they ab is bakwas ke liye de rahe hai

Maybe kanwar will also win one day when he does a Rajan shahi show and is absolutely pathetic in it

The character doesn't fit harshad..i will always claim Harshad is the best actor compared to anyone else..i am totally his fan.😆..becz whichever shows i have watched of him,lastly bepannaah ....i have never once felt he cant act a particular scene Or ever got disconnected from his character...he might be saying the worst things as a character...but when he says it..its like should i bash him for saying that nonsense..or should i appreciate him for saying it so convincingly..😆..but for yrkkh..i couldn't even complete a single episode..i tried but..its like harshad is doing clownery in that show..i still dnt think its the acting going wrong..for a xharater to work, the script, the look, the pairing..eveything abt that character matters..the age gap is a big off in that show..showing him like 20 years minus is just not digestible..and now he looks like a despo pampering baby sitter lover..

Wasn't the baby death a dream , are they going ahead in reality?

The story has been messed up so badly that rather than the longing for a child it actually appears like a stubborn need to possess one at any cost. Repeatedly showing Dhara being taunted for not having a child makes that appear as the reason she wants to have one.

Why can they not to show her either going about this the legal way or just giving up on it (at least until the actress agrees to play a mother) and maybe focus her energy on something constructive instead. She can be shown having more in her life than just family. Maybe take up a new hobby?
