If I have to list out my fav scenes from out of all 119 episodes, the "bench scene" from today's episode has to be one of my favs.... ofcourse after Dev-Vidhi confession scenes. ♡
For the bench scene, the writer should be appreciated for the dialogues and special appreciation for actors to bring out that scene so beautifully. I have always been fan of Iqbal's husky voice, specially when he goes in that calm explaining zone. 😍....

Whole bench sequence has piece of my heart how it started off Vidhi talking abt "Dhruv tara" and Dev bringing that Calmness & stability in her life. It defined how Dev's entry into her life has transformed her, from being that clumsy, naive , innocent, unaware, nervous "pagli film" to a girl who is being independent, having a career, aspirations for future and she getting the courage to not only fall in love, accept the relationship, which not going to be easy for her at any stage but most importantly, getting confidence to reveal her love to her parents.
It's something brave for her to do, and she will have to be braver in future. Dev & Vidhi have a tough road ahead for them. Family, friends, society are not very welcoming to couples with age difference.

As for Dev, everything he said was so on point and Vidhi needed to hear it...as it will help her mature as a "girlfriend"....coz way she had been, even after their wedding (hope its happening soon) , I can imagine her 😆😆 zindagi bhar logo ko pakad pakad ke telling how normal their relationship is😆😆. On a serious note, it was needed not only for validation but also gradual maturity which will be required for their relationship. Agreed it's Vidhi's first relationship & she gonna be in that zone of first love, where she wants to enjoy the feeling of first love like every other couple do. There is nothing wrong with her seeking validation & being jumpy about age difference, as it's normal for her age, where she wants to show off that her boyfriend is like any other guy & their relationship is as normal like other couples.
One of the main reasons, I wish to see that growth graph as girlfriend, she had progressed as individual, she is gradually gaining confidence...but as Dev’s life partner she needs more progression.Age difference for them is very obvious & visible too, and as a character she needs to be matured...she needs to realise that there is no need to prove everyone that their relation is normal.
Accepting this relationship was a brave decision for her, but life not going to be easy for her...this was just first step, there is whole life ahead and she can’t take every comment made on age difference to her heart.Irrespective of age difference, Dev will be her boyfriend and he cannot forever baby sit her, (though he won’t mind that)😆😆 but still, after a point it might get irritating for him and may effect their relationship if always have to look out for her and worry for her, as they will have to fight out with everyone for their relationship to transform into wedding.Even Dev would love to see a girlfriend standing strong with her confidently in times of need, who inspite of the age difference understands & supports him.
All these years, Dev had looked out for others, he always been burdened by responsibilities... at some point of time in relationship, even he would expect love & care from his girlfriend, where he can be relaxed and take a back seat.
Things will go awkward & there will be many moments when either of them will feel insecure about their relationship. There will be moments where things will fall apart & even a strong confident person like Dev will need a strong supportive partner.
After relationship goes more public & if it reaches to Wedding stage Dev’s patience, his temper, his confidence , his position will be tested. It’s not going to be easy fight, and it will be moment where Vidhi will have to be strong & she has to be prepared for everything and even Dev too, at this point he might feel he doesn’t care for comments or what people say, but when actually things will be said ...it will surely effect him.
As a character, I am genuinely surprised seeing a character like Dev, in Indian TV, it’s been ages I saw a male lead written out so nicely. Keeping my fingers crossed, that his character stays as he is ♡... Having Iqbal portray Dev so brilliantly is icing on cake 😍
