Not a comparison between Alia and Sridevi (as they can't be compared IMO) but is Alia technically the best actress to be ever numero uno?

Alia is so good at being the Numero uno, Sridevi has retroactively been demoted to #2 despite Alia not even being alive back then

Yes!

There's a sense of it being performative in Alia’s acting but Sridevi comes very sincere because she is emotive, and also shows vulnerability in a non performative manner.

Alia comes across very controlled even when showing vulnerability. You can feel she’s calculating EVERYTHING!

On topic... of course Sridevi remains the complete actress. Alia simply doesn't have the physical stature and doesn't project enough gravitas in even serious roles. Not to mention dancing and comedy which Sridevi could do.

Granted, Alia does turn the role into something that suits her, but that's compensating, not transforming into the character.

Yup ! Sridevi, Shabana Azmi, Smita Patil, Meryl Streep combined can not touch the acting prowess of Alia Bhatt ..

If they cannot be compared then why this comparison post? What does ‘technically’ even mean? Is it because Sridevi is a completely self made actor who reached a legendary status very early on in her life when she was in her 40s itself which Alia cannot even dream of at least in this lifetime?

No, Alia is the worst. She does not know a of acting. Her acting is cringe. Its neither overacting like kareena nor subtle acting like Deepika. Its just cringe.
