Mehedy is the man of series. This was expected

Mehidy Hasan, PoTS: They are a good side in every format. Last couple of years we have been doing well. We have a Wc in front and we can do well next year. We have lot of senior guys. They are supporting us. We gain confidence. We want to get better. I try to think positive every time.

Litton Das: The way Ishan and Virat batted, that cost us the game. The way Ishan batted, hats off to him. Our bowlers tried our best but there was no way out on this wicket. Had we been chasing 330-340, it would have been a different ball game. They are a good side. We played good cricket and will help our confidence.

Bangladesh skipper lifts the Trophy! Lightning doesn't strike twice but Bangladesh does read a tweet after the last ODI and who better than India would know it. India were handed out heart shattering losses in the first two ODIs but they have risen from it like a phoenix and have handed the hosts a pasting. It was all about Kishan. Superlatives and adjectives will be adorning his name today. But for India, they will need a few quick fixes as the next fifty overs WC ain't too far away given their would be Tests, T20Is and an IPL sandwiched before that. Over to some attritional red ball cricket now or there would be some bazball adventure as well?

They are badly missing an established opener like Tamim in this series. He knows how to anchor the innings and create a platform for the middle order and finishers, but ofc he wont always do well. Anamul and Shanto(he plays spin well though) both are useless 😡 Mushy’s form is seriously concerning, he already retired in one of the formats this year. Liton was there but he didnt play as per his potential, I personally am not happy with his performance.

But I understand it is probably cause of captaincy, he isn’t a good captain even though the team won the series. Same for KL not a good captain but was lucky to be captaining in the winning match (I prefer Rohit over KL as a captain)

If it wasn’t for Mehedi magic, BD would have gotten thrashed in this series.
