How I understand it, MG is minimum guarantee for a particular contestant. Top and famous contestants only get MG. They will stay for that time inside the house and if they are evicted, channel still will have to pay the weekly amount to them.
Say for eg, Ankit has 7 week MG, if he is evicted in 3rd week. Channel will have to pay him weekly salary till 7th week.
MG is different from Voluntary Exit. A contestant irrespective of MG will have to pay the 2 crore or the 'x' amount if they are taking voluntary exit from the show. It will different for each contestants.
The reason they don't want Stan to go is because the show is getting extended for more 1 month and Stan is bringing a huge audience with him. They will remove him just before finale.
Who are these audiences that Stan brings to the show? His fans? What do they watch in the episodes? Stan hiding under the blanket or cribbing about how he's going crazy and how he wants to leave the show..getting suicidal thoughts? he's barely visible in the episodes.. some passing shots or crying in some corner.. Sumbul also got in bottom two because of less votes even though she also has a huge fan following coz maybe her fans eventually realized that there is no point keeping her inside.. I really hope Stan's fans have that moment of enlightenment and stop voting for this dead man walking.
