Wouldn't this have been a good time to go for a leap? Shiva-Raavi separated and getting the much needed time and space. Maybe some family relations changed over this period. They could have even, if they so wanted, shown Shweta coming back to take revenge (for whatever reason) with her child who would then be older and so they wouldn't need to use the baby.

Personally, I think what they are showing right now makes no sense whatsoever (not that much different from other times but still...). There is absolutely no rhyme or reason to it. Raavi was shown so firm in her decision while Shweta just wanted money and a life of luxury. Both their actions now are just incomprehensible to me. The patch-up looks like the writers couldn't be bothered anymore so just ended the fight without actually addressing their issues. Maybe so they can show the same stuff again soon?

I don't think she had a problem with Raavi being friends with Arnav until Shiva accused her. Also, does she not realise just how messed up it sounds to say they are only together because Raavi lost her job. Not only is she absolving Shiva of all responsibility but also making it seem like it is actually wrong for married women to have male friends.
