this is off topic but since i had learnt about the news from here and it was discussed in one of the previous ddts, i'm discussing it here. so when someone had posted the engagement pictures for divya, i didn't buy the engagement fully because she broke up with varun just a few months ago so i couldn't believe that she had enough time to get to know someone enough during this timeframe to get engaged to them but damn it is true 😆 coming to my point now, the pictures popped up on my insta and some media pages were calling the proposal romantic and i'd just like to say - hainnn? yeh kahan se romantic proposal tha? the bar for romance must be underground if this is considered romantic 🤣 ek media event type bday pe propose karne mein kya romance hai? there's no creativity, thought, intimacy, feeling, or emotion in such proposals. banda kuch sochta hai, effort karta hai, plan karta hai, phir propose karta hai in some kind of romantic and intimate way. itne public and showy way mein propose karne mein to koi thoughtfulness nahi lagti. ugh why do social media people and celebrities do everything for the public eye and consumption? kuch to personal and private way mein kar lia karo.
