I like Alia as actress. She lost 18kgs for 'Student of the year'. From her first movie till now, she is molding herself according to the movie. She's the same in real life too. RK was not happy with KK, and they would've NEVER been a good match.

He had a better connection with DP.

It always feels like RK had just reached that stage when he and his family and the whole world felt it was high time he 'settled down'. Alia was conveniently available and so the 'relationship' happened. It didn't hurt of course that she had had a crush on him since she was 11 or whatever. And that she was fine with infidelity other than emotional infidelity. And that she stoked his ego no end, making him out to be God's gift to cinema and an angel of virtue complete with shining halo who 'never gossips'😆

Nothing about the way their relationship happened feels organic.
