But honestly speaking, this tragedy, i think is more impactful than a happily ever after would ever be. The ending had to be tragic. We have spoken about this before.

We obviously would have loved a happy ending. Shamsher even redeemed himself. And HOW. They were perfect! Their love was perfect!

But then,

..they wanted to show that they were doomed since day one. Their first meeting itself was dark. shamsher did cross all his limits in love. The very foundation of their relationship was not right.. Shamsher does tell that woh khudrath se cheen kar Mehak ko paana chata hai.. and look at what khudrath did to him.. cuz he went against it. Throughout the show, they were obvious hints, especially with Shamsher's dialogues on how he cant live without her, how he will protect her till his last breath, how he would die but never return to his father's house, how the father would regret cuz he would be the one losing everything if anything happened to Mehak.. so yeah its all Basically to tie up all this.. and hence it does come across as very impactful also.. im just so sad typing this.. The writer knew the audience's pulse will be with Shamsher.. anything happens to him, thats gonna be legendary.. people wont forget this and will find it hard to move on. And they wanted it all exactly to be like that.

Yes his expression changes within seconds, almost like he knew he is going to die but he wanted to hear her say the words so he pulled on for some more moments 💔

Adding to what you wrote, killing him pre-finale is more impactful than any other main character death.

Usually when the audience's favourite dies, we end up seeing an aftermath as to what happened or its clearly hinted because the story has to wrap up.

This time we are waiting for next week because Mehak is still alive, she is carrying their baby. 💔

Had Shamsher died in the Finale, we would have moved on eventually, knowing nothing else is gonna happen. But now, it feels like we are living the story in real time, which makes it tragic and iconic.

Masterstroke really. No one would've imagined the hero dying before the last episode.

I wonder what the makers will show because the entire finale promo is 90% Shamsher's scenes.

Maybe yes to some extent they may show a journey of Shamsher from brat to what he became.. maybe Mehak is the one recalling it all.. lets see if they are gonna drop in a message through that.. kuch Shamsher ke baare mein.. kuch Baba saab ke baare mein.. ki why they got the end they got.. like a monologue from a certain character.. but i dont understand who is gonna bitch about Shamsher lol.. cuz every one is team Shamsher now..

First time when he got shot he didn't want to live cuz Mehak wasn't alive (with him). Now when he got shot, he wanted to live cuz Mehak was with him. Not fair! 😭

Because I really do want that Afterlife thingy to be true.

The last frame has to stay with the viewers. Normally if Shamsher would have died next week it wouldn't matter coz that death would be the defining point and the audience would be numb.

But what kind of sorcery they do now is importany.
